All applicants must sign the 'Events Charter'
It is important to start planning your event as soon as possible. Find our Timescales for Planning an Event document in the right-hand menu.
Please contact the Event Office via email email@example.com to check availability prior to submitting your application and read through the A Guide for Organisers.
Due to increased demand on our parks and open spaces for events, we are no longer able to reserve dates without the submission of an event application. Therefore, once you have made your enquiry to determine if your preferred dates are available, the events office will hold these for 7 days (one calendar week) before releasing, should no event application be received. Thank you for your understanding.
A non-refundable application fee will be charged after your application has been submitted and availability checked to support the cost of providing this system. The Events Office will be in contact within 14 days of submitting your application and receiving your fee. Please note that applications to undertake beach cleans where no other event activity is taking place will be free of charge.
- Beach Clean Events £0 - Free of charge
- Small charity or community events £10
- Large* charity or community events or commercial events £100
*An event is classed as large if there are more than 500 people expected to attend. Please note commercial events will also pay an additional land hire fee, this fee will be negotiated between Torbay Council and the applicant and will vary depending on the type of event, duration and time of year.
