Applying for a permit:

To apply to film in Wellington, you will need to register both yourself and the film production in FilmApp. Each time you login you can select an existing production, or create a new application.

You also need Public Liability insurance coverage, a Health & Safety Policy and for each location a Risk Register.

In order to apply for a filming permit all health and safety documents and public liability insurance must be completed and attached, including:

• Risk Register 
• Health and Safety Policy (if a student this will come from your school or university)

About Screen Wellington

Screen Wellington issues and facilitates film permits on behalf of all councils in the Wellington region. This includes Wellington City, Porirua, Lower Hutt, Upper Hutt, Kāpiti and the districts of South Wairarapa, Carterton and Masteron in the Wairarapa.
