Dear All,

I write to notify you of an event scheduled to take place in your area.

This is the first of four weekly pop up music performance events that will take place On Saturday's throughout August, at the currently closed junction of Dulwich Village, Calton Avenue and Court Lane.

This event will see performances by local performers Calton Quintet and Gypsy Duo.

Further to the first event in this series, the organisers have responded to the issues raised and made a number of changes to the layout of the event in order to improve it's safety and minimise any potential disruption.

Event Description:

The first event planned is for Saturday 29 May 2021. It will take place in the closed road junction which we call
Dulwich Square. This is the junction of Calton Avenue, Court Lane and Dulwich Village - all SE21, London. The event
comprises a local high quality amateur string quintet (Calton Ensemble - String Quintet). We will be playing a range
of music from the light classical tradition. I am one of the musicians as well as organising this and other events at
the location. We will be gently amplified, with me at the controls. No-one is being paid. Power is being provided by a
local shop (Au Ciel). The power cable will be securely taped in place to the location of the performers, which is likely
to be directly alongside the Hair Dressers next door. A Risk Assessment has been provided to the Events Team,
Southwark; together with clear plan layouts showing how pedestrians and cyclists are to be managed during the
event, including relating to Covid. No one is being charged to attend or asked for donations for this event.
